Day 3

Today is a Saturday morning here in Japan and I'm awake super early. Why? Good question, I wish I knew that answer too. I've drank about half of a cup of coffee already and my mind is racing, thought I'd keep my daily prompts going and share some thoughts afterwards.

Day 3: Eight Ways to Win Your Heart.
1. Coffee, in grounds as a gift or a sporadic coffee run and you happen to remember me and what I like, even though I'd be happy with just black coffee.
2. Be considerate of others.
3. Be educated-  talk like you are, write/type like you are.
4. Be open-minded, to the world and to your life.
5. Surprise me.
6. Enjoy the simple, small things in life.
7. Make me laugh.
8. Carry yourself well.

I really liked this prompt and I'd love to hear what other people would say too. I asked a couple of my friends and one of them gave me like set answers similar to mine, and the other one was just kind of vague. I think my responses are pretty straight forward though.

Here's a One-Minute writing prompt I found today to change the whole mood of this blog.
As a kid, what job did you dream you'd have as an adult? What job do you have now?
As a kid I wanted to be a lawyer, like I really wanted to go to law school and do all of that. I only wanted to be a lawyer honestly because I watched that movie Legally Blonde as a young girl and fell in love with the character and how she always believed in what she thought was right. So, I wanted to be a lawyer because of a movie. Sounds silly, I know. The job I have now is building bombs for the United States Navy. A little different from what I wanted then, right?

Day 2

I didn't have a chance to post this day 2 in order from the first one for whoever is following these. Sorry, I was really busy & stressed out & then I had duty so I didn't really have too much access to the internet. Here we go! :)

Day 2: Nine Things About Yourself.
1. The simple things in life make me happy.
2. I'm a really picky eater.
3. I have to fall asleep on my stomach every night, or the majority of the time.
4. I prefer my coffee black.
5. I always find the good in a situation.
6. Making people laugh makes me happy.
7. Tattoos are really great & beautiful.
8. When I get really excited I talk really fast and my voice gets really high pitched.
9. I consider myself to be a free spirit, going with the flow of things and seeing how they work.

I enjoyed this prompt for the fact that it made me think about different things about myself that not too many people know. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I completely love talking about myself or anything, but it made me think outside of the box. I definitely tried to not say the typical things, but at the same time I didn't want to say anything too deep either.

This is short & sweet, because I have a movie to get ready to go see.

This is currently my background on my laptop, in case you were interested. I want a dog just like this. It's an Italian Greyhound, and these dogs are pretty much the cutest dogs ever to exist. :)

Start of 1O Day Challenge

I found a picture on Pinterest that has a 1O Day Challenge of ideas/prompts-type of thing. I thought this would be pretty interesting. It's a little more personal though so we'll see how this goes.

At first I was going to put all 1O Days in one blog, but today it was brought to my attention that I may want to put each day in a different blog itself. So, I actually started this like 6 or 7 days ago, but I'm just going to start posting it now.

Day 1: Ten Things You Want to Say to Ten Different People Right Now.
1. You are such a morale boost & well-rounded. You definitely lighten up everyones day, all the time.
2. I wish I could've helped you the way I had planned when I had very first met you. Although, I know I've helped you improve, just not as much as I had originally planned or wanted.
3. It would've been great to meet you earlier.
4. Your presence & smile/hug lightens the mood, without even saying anything.
5. In the short time that you've been in my life you have opened my eyes tremendously, more than I thought you really would.
6. Think of what you want personally, verses what you think you deserve.
7. I miss being as close as I used to be with you.
8. You bring so much creativity and artistic beauty into this world, just be yourself and allow yourself to grow with time.
9. You make me smile, like even when you're not around.
10. You have made me become a very strong young woman.

As you can tell some of these are more serious than others. I tried to space them out differently so that all the serious ones weren't all one after the other. I'm pretty sure some of you may read this and think that you know who I'm directing it towards, but at the same time you may be wrong. I learned that I pretty much say what I want to, to people. Well, most of the time anyway, so coming up with ten things that I haven't said to people that are obviously important to me was a little hard.

Last little fun fact for the day: I kind of really enjoy the fact that I come home to my barracks room and my roommate is playing music. It's music that I wouldn't necessarily choose to listen to, but not being able to change the song sometimes is nice. And, she plays it at a decent level.

First in a while

I forgot the rough draft of this, so I'm going out on a whim and decided to try and just let it flow.  I have a common question for everyone and it is : Have you ever been on a very good date? Whether it be a good first date, or second date, countless number of date?

I went on a very good date, I'm not going to say when or with who because I want this to stay anonymous. But I went on this really great date. We ate some food and drank wine, of course, because I love it, and this date of mine was down to drink it too. So, we're drinking wine and halfway through this meal they ask if I want to switch sides of the table. Originally, I was thinking "Uhm, no. I am where I am. You are where you are." But for some reason I thought "Why not?", so we switched sides of the table. And it was good to see a different point of view of things. Like, not to be specific with the person but I really think I'm going to pick this up and do it quite often with people if there are future people. Because if you switch spots at a restaurant  when you're with someone, think about it, you learn so much. You learn at least three things; the view of the rest of the restaurant that you didn't see before because you weren't facing it, it's a little adventurous, to see if they are down to switch spots, and the view of that person with different lighting, to get a different idea of what this person is about. It may sound a little cheesy, but I really love this . I thought it was really cute and new. And, to be completely honest, that kind of sold me and made the rest of the day great. So, thanks date. I think that's all I'm going to say about that though, because then all of you would know who, what, where, and when & I would rather keep that to myself.

I'm sitting here in my new apartment/barracks room, racking my brain thinking of what to write that would be interesting to the different types of people I know. I really shouldn't be doubting myself at what I write on here, because if you don't like what I write you'd probably stop reading, right? Haah, right.

I was asked the question the other day: If you were to have a movie about yourself, your everyday life; who would play you? I immediately chose Emma Stone. The only movie I've seen her in was Easy A- and I'm not saying I'm anything like that character she played though, don't get me twisted. I chose her because she's beautiful, truthful, and hilarious. And I think that pretty much reflects me, in a nut shell. I've watched interviews of Emma Stone and she's just so confident and quirky, I think she's great. Who would you say would be your actor/actress/singer/etc that would play you in a movie? And why? Also, would you want other people to watch it? I would want people to watch it, to get a better understanding of me and my life, my journey thus far. Would people be interested? I'm pretty sure, because two of my good friends always reenact my best friend & I talking, us shaking our heads because we're so excited and bubbly, and they always tell us that one day they are going to make millions if they recorded us- we're that funny together. There are some hilarious, crazy & at the same time, heartfelt and deep parts of my life that the world would then know. It may inspire people and I know it'd make you laugh.

For example, for the first time ever this week I got extremely stressed out and almost started having an anxiety attack, no joke. I've never had an anxiety attack, but I'm pretty sure I was at the beginning stages of one. So, what happened was I had to pack up my whole old barracks room. I have a ton of stuff, I didn't realize and I had like no bags. And this was the night before we were supposed to move out, so I had one night to pack everything. I had all of my small things left, like shelves with a million different bottles of perfume, hair sprays, lotions that are all like halfway full. Anyway, I just looked at my room and looked at my best friend that was there to help me pack and she could tell I was overwhelmed. What did she do? She poured a cup of sangria (because it was in my fridge and had to get drunk) and we began to pack. And that helped, I knew she was going to help with whatever she could, we were going to get everything done and have a great time while we were at it. What ended up happening? We finished packing really fast, we ate some Texas Toast (had to get eaten) & drank a good amount of wine & bonded on an emotional level to say the least. Did I end up having a good night? Yes, of course.

Got questions you want answered? Let me know :)
